Emmaline's Visit

Sea World!!

My little sister Emmaline came out to spend her spring break with us this past week. It was so nice to get to hang out and get to know her a little better (I haven't lived at home with her since she was 9 and she is now almost 18!). Ella loved playing with Emmaline and when we dropped her off at the airport Ella asked if she could go with her. We hit all the San Antonio, TX highlights. The Alamo, the river walk, Gruene, a little shopping at the outlets, Sea world and lastly the beach!! It was a very busy week but both girls did great! Lizette's only hard day was the beach. She had a hard time taking a nap with all the wind and was ready to go home and get in her own bed. Our day at the beach was a little colder then we were hoping for but the sun came out and helped out a bit. We fair skinned people all burned but I think Emmaline got the worst. We tried to warn her about our intense sun here but as many before her have done (Josh) she only lathered up once and fried by the end of the day. Ella got her first sun burn but not too bad. Taking care of Lizette made it hard to keep up with the sun tan lotion. Team sand castle, Emmaline, Adam and Ella, started building a huge city and took a good two hours playing and building. We were sad to see Emmaline go back to Alabama but are glad she came to visit!
