Labor Day Canoe trip

 
Our canoe was full of ants so Josh and Adam sunk it to clean it out. A crazy way to start the day.
 
 
 

 
It started raining as we loaded up the canoes for a tour of Mentone, AL (Josh grew up there and was giving us a tour after our canoe trip) so Allie and I put on a few crazy hats to stay dry.
 
 

This was a road that went through the water.

For labor day we packed up and headed to Gadsden, AL for a weekend with my family. On Saturday Adam and I, my sister Allie and her husband Josh, loaded up the canoes for a trip down Little River. What fun! It was supposed to rain but while we were on the water it was perfect weather. We talked and relaxed as we paddled up and down the river. Ella stayed with my parents so we had a kid free day!
