Happy first birthday Ella!!

A year ago today Ella Emery was born weighing 3.4 pounds and was 15 1/2 inches long. Adam and I are so thankful for such a wonderful daughter. It has been a year of many ups and downs with Miss Ella but every time Adam and I look at her she makes our hearts smile and brings us so much joy.
We had a little party for her Sunday night, the day before her birthday and had a blast with all of our family. Ella opened presents and was spoiled by her grandparents and Aunts and Uncles. She also tried cake for the first time and was sure to let us know that she was not fond of getting dirty or the taste. It was very funny to watch. She made sure throughout the evening that everyone had all eyes on her by talking and laughing at everyone. I wanted to share a poem that my sister in-law Meredith wrote for us and Ella when she was born but waited to give to us until her first birthday. Enjoy the pics and poem!!
