This year to save a little money and to keep from having to make a four to six hour drive to cades cove we decided to camp at a local state park just thirty minutes down the road from our house. This was our first camping trip with both girls on our own. Last fall we went with my sister and brother in-law and had a little help setting up and with the cooking. Everything went so great and the girls had a ton of fun! The first night we put them to bed together in the tent and they stayed up giggling and laughing for a good hour before we made them lay quietly. It was so cute listening to them having so much fun as Adam and I sat around the camp fire! we also did a lot of bike riding while we were there. Lizette rides with me so that Adam can keep up with Ella. We ate smores every night and had home cooked meals over the fire for every meal. Thankfully the weather was perfect and we didn't even get cold in our tent at night. Such a fun family tradition we try to do each fall.

How fun! The girls are so adorable, love these pics. They're both getting so big, especially Ella. She looks like a little lady!
